well, the inklings decided to look upon what was left of humanity and they came across the p90
seeing how great of a weapon it was they remodeled it to fire ink and agent 4 is using it in their quest
also, i kinda want to throw something out: when the splatoon 2 trailers came out or whatever this joke came out that callie was dead because she was not seen in any of the trailers for the game
now, as for callie's fate, with her gone as well as the zapfish (again)? we dont know for certain, we can only speculate until july 21. seems like the octarians are cooking something up.

i think its just because time has passed in the inkling world and new trends are arising
such as "cooler weapon designs" (probably just a different look for an aerospray for example)
