Requesting a scripter

So me and a friend are looking for people who can script. It will be for fun and we will release things to the public and what not. Sick and tired of scripting stuff for the two of us, its just something i cannot wrap my head around.

If you do decide you'd like to be a part of our little team we are friendly people and will enjoy working with whoever. My friend, Sheepocalypse models, and i will be doing sound and particles. There is no leader in our group, we just do our own thing and bounce ideas off each other, simple as that.

If you wanna collab with us just message me and give a little background of yourself and your abilities to script. The most we would want is 2 of you guys.

We are looking for a fairly dedicated and skilled scripter, there wont be any intense projects that require daily attendance and grinding but rather just someone to collaborate our ideas with. Were mostly weapon and item makers so that would be the majority of what we would be doing with some other things off the side. Really it just comes down to what all 3 or 4 of us would be feeling like making lol. It will be relaxed and fun, hopefully get to make a new friend or two while were at it.

I don't think many people are going to be super keen on just loaning themselves out for whatever purpose, it'd be better if you outlined what you wanted in this thread and people could pick and choose what they wanted to work on

normally I just script server/client things
not too much into weapons/items, but can struggle to make them work lol

Well the thing is, im not really asking for anyone to loan themselves really. Rather, im just finding people that would be interested in collaborating and making stuff. I feel like "loan" is a pretty negative way to describe what im asking for.

I know your not trying to stuff on anything. What I'm asking for is pretty broad in nature because I wanna be able to keep who ever is interested around. Not just make one add on and let them go if that makes sense.

I hope you find someone.  I've done maps, bricks, minor vehicle edits, and utility scripts.  But no serious weapon work.

unless you're hiring them, why would they stick around? if they likeyour ideas, sure, but you have not listed a single theme or idea in this thread. people cannot commit to something they have no idea about

Okay lets stop right there with the whole "Hiring" thing, im a bit sick of hearing that in correlation to modding which is done for free and distributed for free, if not in some places then here especially.

For the third time, we are planning on weapons and items, and for the second time, my request is broad in nature because im not looking for a one time scripter, if i was then yes, i would outline exactly what i wanted. But because thats not the case, and rather id like to find someone that would enjoy modding with me and sheepie, then i cant help but be broad.

the problem is what you're asking here amounts to "who would like to be friends with us" - most people do not respond to such a request. you're asking for someone to join you and your friend in modding without them having any idea how you two work, what you two find interesting, what you two really can/cannot do, and how regularly you two play/mod for bl. if i asked you to join me, what would decide whether or not you join? past mods say nothing about my work ethic, time it takes, control i like to exert, how i communicate, and other such things that can make or break a team project.
