I'd say Rimworld, but you mention it in the OP like you have it.

what makes this game good in your opinion
it's got amazing features like
-button mashing
-weight management
-party members that need  to remind you an enemy's weakness for each and every encounter
-party members that have 'dynamic AI' that adjusts based on some arbitrary bullstuff that you can't just adjust
-whoops you can only influence the one you created
-congrats you're gonna have two loving useless partners with you if you manage to make your own good, three if you don't
-they can't even be all the classes, this is probably a good thing cause the AI would be too stupid to play them
-jokes on me they can't even play the 'basic' ones
-THEY HATE FIRE
-WOLVES HUNT IN PACKS
-PICKED UP AN ITEM TIME TO WEIGHT MANAGE
-a 'chosen one' story like every loving RPG

minecraft unironically

what makes this game good in your opinion

a lot of it is kinda like this at times lol

it might be a bit slow at first depending on what kind of player you are but it's got a lot of goodies when you look past the walking simulator and other oddities that the game has for its age/budget since the game never quite managed to reach what they initially wanted. there's a good share of cliche "chosen one" story elements and quests but that gets a bit more interesting later through the game. combat and exploration is probably the game's strongest aspect with things like big climbing action for mounting and attacking wyverns, golems, griffins, orgres, hydras etc shadow of the colossus style. you choose the basic 3 classes in the combat triangle at the start but there's 9 classes that you can switch to and level up whenever you see fit to try different play styles once you reach the capital city with adjustable combat moves and perks (some cross-class perks as well).

bitterblack isle is probably where the game shines the most, included with the dark arisen version (which was technically the game's re-release to fix bugs and add changes). you can access it immediately but it's often recommended you go there at a higher level unless you want a bigger challenge. it's basically a dungeon crawling experience with bosses, descending floors, constant monster hordes hunting you, the grim reaper patrolling the halls, etc while you uncover some lore and collect cursed loot to refine for a chance to get new gear. ultimately the game is about kicking giant monster ass and you feel cool doing it.

yeah the ai is pretty awful for what they are but i just imagine them as goofy drunk idiots that always forget they told you something and they often keep repeating it (which is mutable). there's mods to change the stamina consumption for sprinting and weight managements on the nexus if those aren't your jam. if anything it's at least worth looking at during a sale but you should at least have around 50+ hours or so of gameplay probably if you do everything.

also would you consider nier:automata to be an anime game?

if you havent played far cry 3 its pretty good.

if you have, play far cry 3 blood dragon. its better

things i like:
- rpgs/adventure
- mmorpgs but i havent found one ive been able to get into for a long time. currently trying tera but ehhh
- space
- swords
- action games but its gonna have to be good because ive played so many
- sandbox
- survival (not rust or the forest)
- strategy games (rts, games like rimworld ect)

You should give space station 13 a look, it's free. Kinda hard to get into, definitely a really niche thing.
