i just wonder how they're gonna actually play it out. i mean, the last games were in what were essentially third world stuffholes, but now this is one set in a modern, first world country where you can pretty much just call up the police, even if it is heavily rural

well i think this particular place in montana is a bit more empty, hot, and deserted just like most of the areas in the rocky mountains, so even if it was in america it looks a like a stuffhole because of how forgetin' barren, empty, and huge it is

now call me crazy but I actually think it would be really cool if it made sort of a merge with GTA in the sense that their were towns you could visit.

Growing up in Montana, I'm really hoping they do a good job with this. A county run by mad bikers, cultists, or corrupted law enforcement is perfectly fine with me.

The thing about Montana is the distance everything thing is away from you is. It could take police/ambulances/fire department up to 30 minutes to respond to an accident on some farm or trailer park/sub-division far enough away from the county seat. A lot of state and county roads damaged by flooding, livestock, or harsh winters don't help, either. And no cop is going to show up to a crime scene in the middle of no-where alone.
