Author Topic: How come the child support system is so broken?  (Read 11560 times)

Well you're obviously talking about something you know nothing about. Have you ever actually had the opportunity to say no?
Yes, don't be that guy, I've been offered the Real McKoy... Get it?
It's a little thing called "Self Control"

This.
Believe it or not, self control is an option, and you don't have to act on impulses.

Believe it or not, other forms of love exist outside of basic intercourse.

It's really hard not to come off as a douchy "lol iv had love and u havent" guy but you really, really don't know what you're talking about here. The importance and benefit of contraceptives and loveual education far outweigh any half-baked preconceptions about abstinence.

Believe it or not, self control is an option, and you don't have to act on impulses.
but controlling birth rate is not

you can tell capitalism is good when accidentally havimg a kid is a death sentence
tbf I wouldn't blame capitalism it's more of a "if we make the punishments stupidly severe nobody will commit it". Of course it never works out like that.

Considering you thought vaginas were open holes I somewhat doubt that

there's no proof that self-control works besides 'i can do it so they can too'

considering you probably live above the poverty rate and 'they' don't your argument loses validity

The problem here is that statistics obviously aren't on Matthew's side considered unwanted pregnancies are definitely an issue one way or the other. Clearly telling people to just "not have love" isn't fixing anything.

But you can't fix stupid, so there's really no point in arguing about this further.

You guys are acting like you're snake magnetically pulls itself into the nearest pusillanimous individual unless you pay it not to.

Believe it or not, you have no idea what you're talking about.  Perhaps those naïve enough to believe you will agree, but I can personally attest that you're talking about something with authority—that you actually know nothing about.

holy stuff you honestly have no idea what you're talking about right

in principle, people should ideally be able to happily forget their significant other without fear of going bankrupt because they accidentally had a kid. a reality where poor people are forced to be celibate because they literally cannot afford the risk of having love is not a reality that i find acceptable

IDGAF that people are too stupid to listen, if they're too stupid to enact some self control and not forget on impulse, that's not my problem.
I'm not looking for a way to 'stop unwanted pregnancies', I'm saying there is an out, but if their too stupid to not stick their richard into these situations, then
there is no solution.

This is an excellent example of you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.

It's very obvious that it's not your problem lmfao

Three Step Process to avoid having a child whilst being poor.
Step 1: Don't forget
Step 2: Bust Your Ass in terms of time investment
Step 3: Use what you've learned to pull yourself out of poverty.

Except of course that abstinence education objectively does not work compared to proper loveual education. The issue is not people having love, it's people not having access to/not understanding birth control.
