if you're living half time with your father and half time with your mother, child support shouldn't really be paid to the mother, as the child is already taken care of half the time by the father, therefore, the "support" is already being paid.
nobody should need to pay $500 a week or whatever it was.

can attest to this. my mother makes 60,000 a year and my dad makes like 30,000 and my dad still has to pay more

though child support is only payed by the parent who doesn't have custody over the child. if you live with your 10,000 a year father then your mother will be paying child support.
