stuff's broke (per /r/RocketLeague):
 - farmstead's walls are black on mac/linux ports
 - xbox players crash if navigating the menu too quickly
 - some xbox players are experiencing even worse performance issues
 - pc players are crashing left/right
 - season 4 rewards are suddenly not rendering correctly
 - DFH stadium's new day map is too bright on lower video settings
 - servers went down for a bit post-update
 - ball trails lengthen/shorten depending on FPS (w:hat:)
 - you're now punished if you leave a comp game after a teammate has already left
guess that's what happens too when you fuel all your money to esports events instead of Q&A  

don't solo queue either for the first week or so, it's a soft reset, incredibly mixed bag of players right now. i've lost most of my placement matches so far because, as a plat 1, im being pit against plat 3/diamond 1 players and, of course, im getting my ass beaten. doubly so because i don't have friends who play the game. i've got the ability, i just ain't got no one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
