Author Topic: drinking ethyl rubbing alcohol  (Read 6767 times)

it would honestly be faster and cheaper to find some hobo and bribe him into buying alcohol for you assuming you're doing this because you can't buy alcohol yourself

didn't this guy also claim he has a "business" selling pot

my biology teacher in 9th grade told me a story that he had some kids chug the hand sanitizer because they thought it contained, well, alcohol.

they were rushed to the hospital immediately after.

that kid who chugged the hand sanitizer? his name was albert einstein

not fermented, but aged.
Its stuff unless you let it age.
Yeah but that still doesn't take 30-80 years, wtf? 6-12 months is fine for aging. You can buy wines in stores that taste just fine and are a vintage of only 1-2 years old

The biggest limiting factor here to getting "good stuff" would be the variety of grape.

well it does technically i guess (methanol)

its just a lot more lethal

No, methanol is way to toxic, even just through skin absorption.
Hand sanitizer would be ethanol- or isopropanol-based.

Every hand sanitizer I've checked the ingredients on (which is admittedly few) has been ethanol based. So the concern for ingestion is any other ingredients. See:
almost all ethanol products on the market are denatured. denatured ethanol is ethanol that's been contaminated with trace chemicals rendering it unfit for consumption- perhaps it's too disgusting, but usually it's also outright toxic.

the reason these hard-to-remove chemicals are added? consumable alcohol gets alcohol tax.

Doesn't rubbing alcohol cause blindness if you drink enough of it

you can distill rubbing alcohol using readily available lab kits and remove all non-ethanol ingredients

why are you so desperate to get some alcohol, are you like 12 or something

Just crack open a cold one with the boys

you can distill rubbing alcohol using readily available lab kits and remove all non-ethanol ingredients
if you can figure out how to do this you can figure out how to home-brew lmao
