Author Topic: is stick shift worth it in california  (Read 5670 times)

I'm purchasing a lancer evolution soon and I wanna know if any of y'all live in cali and drive stick. theres a buttforget of traffic SOMEtimes and i live in the OC area, and people say stick is for the cool kids and it IS fun to do but is it worth it in this area?

ya
how else you supposed to shred the canyons

Stick is painful in traffic

u already have a bootleg evolution why would u need another one

If you don't live in San Francisco and there's not insanely steep roads at every turn then buy a manual boi

don't
This, manual is a loving PAIN in high-traffic and hill parking / stops.

nothing is worth it in california

why do we have california again

manual forgetin sucks use technology you loving caveman

Depends where. Honestly shouldn't even be a state-wide question. The question should be including specifically what kind of area you live in. If you live in the LA area, or any high traffic city for that matter, then no. But if you live in a more rural or even suburban area, you'll be fine.

stick shift makes you look like you have a big richard, and you probably do anyway when you drive a manual so get one

god no
if you're in the US then use an automatic.

my dad got a cj7 in california and drove all around the state for a day
it's not painful unless you don't know how to use it
