i had this nightmare thing years ago where i'd hear this errrrrrrrERRRRRRRR and a thing saying game over would rush into my vision, and like my vision would get all watery and blurry and i'd be in a black box with grey edges with monsters and stuff and i'd get back out through a vent only for it to happen again after i went to bed again
it was strange. not really anything scary that happened to me, just a bit of a nightmare

i used to have night terrors/exploding head syndrome when i was a little kid.

one time i woke up half-asleep and feeling feverish, and i'd feel myself floating up above my bed levitating on a piece of string. then it would feel like i was standing still but the whole world was moving, rather than the other way around, and then the room would shake violently from my point of view. and for some reason it was just the most terrifying thing ever.
