I would still rather have this discussion in the politics thread. I'm going to sleep.

Capitalists are still stuck in the era of the Soviet Union, meanwhile the next financial crCIA is around the corner because of either the bursting of the Chinese property bubble, the Silicon Valley investment bubble, the student loans bubble, or just the collapse of fossil fuels.

You can be infatuated with the failures of the steaming pile of stuff that is Stalinism, but if you pull your head outta the sand you'll see a ticking time bomb capitalism can't and won't stop

good night, sleep tight, don't let the bronchitis bite

Lenin revolted against the Tsars, also known as a monarchy. America did the same thing.

WE DIDN'T IMPRISON AND KILL OFF MONARCHIST AMERICANS IN A SELF-DECLARED REIGN OF TERROR

It's important to keep in mind the position the rebels were coming from. The horrible mistreatment of the people under Russia's monarchy justified the revolution as justice in the minds of the rebels. Many of Lenins's quotes cannot be applied to modern society, because he was right for believing the monarchy's form of "freedoms" were merely a tool for the continued oppression of Russian citizens. When he speaks against the freedom of the press, for example, he doesn't speak against the concept as we know it, but rather the monarchy's bastardized form of it.

"I don't care what becomes of Russia. To hell with it […] All this is only the road to a World Revolution."

The next financial crCIA could be sometime in the next few years and it might be one of the most important events in the 21st century. Tens of billions of dollars are being pooled into that snake oil pit that's Silicon Valley, and you already have companies like Uber showing massive losses in 2016. There's a tech bubble that's about to burst, and if that happens the whole economy is going down with it.

leisure do you have any experience with the economy outside of buying bernie 2016 shirts
