Author Topic: How to rip from dolphin?  (Read 6338 times)

I've been trying to use ninja ripper and 3d ripper DX to rip models from dolphin emulator. Ninja ripper had errors at first but then when ripping I just get a log file, 3d ripper dx doesn't work at and does nothing, it also requires the 32 bit version of dolphin which I downloaded for use with 3d ripper dx but I'm running into a lot of problems. How do I rip with ninja ripper?

First you get in a boat to find a group of dolphins so you can attack them, once they're pissed get in the water so they can kill you- oh you're talking about an emulator.

OT: anyone got any ideas?

Can you post your log file here?

I found and fixed the issue, and on the off chance anyone cares, it was that he had dolphin set to use OpenGL to render the game, which neither of the ripping tools he tried support.

Make sure you set your rendering device in dolphin to a supported DirectX version before attempting to use those tools.

if your PC doesn't support directx (highly unlikely), what game are you trying to rip? i'll see if i have a copy and i'll try to CleanRip it to a USB drive so i can rip it myself

chances are it might be on models resource anyways

But, Op.
it isn't when you own the discs and emulate it straight from the dvd drive now is it (yes it's possible)

Not it's not... Not that it even matters as long as he is not going to use the models to make a profit.

Game is Def jam fight for NY. After Sushi fixed the problem for me, after converting the .rip to .obj going through the .obj's is a nightmare I don't know which files are the player models
