They can serve as an default blockland weaponpack, because about 90% of all the servers out them use the stuff out of the weapon packs.
nope

Not T+T.. they break half of the time I use them, and these weapons most of the time use hitscans, not wonderful to use

Aren't SWeps pretty good?

dont forget ibans cityrpg hahaha amirite

dont forget ibans cityrpg hahaha amirite
this is highly recommend please use this on a daily basis pls dont hurt me

the amount of addons in this topic is a lot and would probably be best broken down into separate packs and also culling anything not extremely useful (rather than just pretty useful)

example: whoomans bricks, they're great but they are really pretty specific and may overwhelm new builders with too many options when paired with like 10 other packs. fillers make sense though.

I think the OldSchoolWeaponPack would work well, its very close to default and you get some extra stuff to work with.

Static maps? I like this idea btw

Also for DMs and in general a healthbar addon would be perfect, I ahd alot of fun in DMs but the lack of something to track health made it a pain.

A version of better shadow control that works with drop down search and has a better browser for shader files. Also with that, different shaders. One that is default but darker, the optimized soft shaders and ultra soft shaders.

BL-Browser when its complete and perfect.

An updated OpenAL.

Potential default support for MERP?

BLG has been commiting so much bad things that i would not be suprised if BLG fanboys get the same thing TBM fanboys got, so yeah, dont put it in.

Crown's Brick Searching Tool.

A mod for moderator.

snippity
I was gonna suggest that yeah

really wish there was a better rendering .dll but that's too much work for anyone to bother

Also what's this with BLG doing bad things? I thought TBM had abusable things. BLG is necessary for a lot of settings to be changed in addons unless you want some old stripped-down RTB thing.

Posting again, negatively somewhat, but do hear me out. I wanted to reword what I said earlier.

Everything in here seems to be pretty much mods. Like a pack. Thing is, this pack will result in doubling the addons folder (supposedly mods to base game and not base game itself).

If you really want to call this an update, then you gotta update the source, right? You can't directly do that, I understand, but thus you cannot possibly call this mod pack an update, except a Starter Pack or Best Of Pack of sorts. As said before, this update is mods that old players already have and new players don't have.

I don't have a problem with the idea and all the suggested addons. I have a problem with what we're going to call it. We can't call it an update unless we bother updating the source code (which is legally impossible). Settle for making it a Community Starter Pack (or a better name) instead.

(If the last paragraph doesn't help you understand, think of Club Penguin private servers (like Rewritten) and Toontown Rewritten)

What bad things, comparable to TBM, are you taking about? Really the worst thing about Glass is GlassBot but that's it.

I don't have an actual link to post, but I'd like to start discussion about the interface. It looks like windows 98, and while I don't think it looks bad per se, it definitely puts a date on the game.

The trouble is that BlocklandLauncher will automatically "fix" the image files if you replace them to mod the UI. There are addons to stop this but they cause issues and often cause Blockland to crash on startup.

Contradicting what I just said, here's SuperLoad, but it requires a DLL injection. Not sure if you could have this done automatically when BL starts up, or modify the BL executable file itself to include this, but regardless here it is.

This speeds up loading times and allows blockland to actually use more bandwidth than '90s internet.

Map:
Hockenheimring?
City (up to public debate)
Something related to possible gamemodes to add
Something adventurous
Some challenge map

Addons:
New dup
Wand
Fill can
Auto saver
Bricks (up to public debate)
Colour set (up to public debate)

Gamemodes:
Creeper
Some form of TDM (up to public debate)
Randomizer
A working CityRPG?

I'm out of ideas...

A think a "Community Update" should extend beyond just an advanced mod pack. Something like a custom launcher, some form of default DLL support, new default shaders, a slight UI refresh, adding some core functionality (Server-sided gui support? Chunk-based real-time autosaver? Persistent "worlds"? Easy packaging of maps and gamemodes, Halo 3 style? TCP-based (or otherwise optimized) save loading?), fully-integrated Support_Updater, etc.

BLG has been commiting so much bad things
What? I think we're still well below the scope of RTB, I can't think of a single malicious-seeming thing we've done. We're the scapegoat for about 90% of bugs that people encounter and there's been long standing problems with preferences, but Glass does a pretty good job of minding itself and not interfering with anything or trying to make it our own game, like TBM.

i would not be suprised if BLG fanboys get the same thing TBM fanboys got
What?
