I restored a full backup from 5/30.  I could not do a full backup from the old server, it would die in random parts of the database.  So I extracted the latest posts by post number, which does not include modified posts.  The real reason I didn't include modified posts is because smf uses it's own timestamp format that I couldn't figure out before my patience blew. 

I might be able to figure it out but I'm not sure it's worth doing or if people will just update their OPs.

I'd say forget it and im just glad that unread posts are fixed because that stuff drived me nuts having to click the same topic 10 times just so it would be marked as read
