Look man you're pointing at a massive ideological group as a whole and acting like they are responsible for the actions of a few. Furthermore you act as if the entire group does not want good and balanced journalism. The motive is money for a company from a company's perspective, and I wouldn't go much further than that.  Same thing for new organizations on the other pole, Fox News. If they did something of this sort, I would be more ready to point fingers at the editorial staff which authorized and encouraged poor journalistic practice than an idealogical group and party as a whole.

We would benefit from being not so polarized, and imho we should really bring back the golden rule in journalism where both sides are reported and reinstate pre-Clinton era media regulations that kept this kinda bullstuff from happening.
