That is the truth. This entire thing is literally nothing but CNN autisticly screeching over a loving joke. And anyone who's defending them on this is just another autist screeching with them.
Saying you're completely misrepresenting the issue != defending CNN. You're ignoring some really, really bad precedents being set here by CNN in favor of just going full on handicap rage because

This isn't them 'screeching autistically' over a joke, this is them singling out a random guy for 'bad behavior' and extorting him by holding his personal information above his head, ready to be published nationally and ruin his life unless he starts acting like a good boy
under their discretion. All you're doing is detracting from that argument by being a complete stuffhead about it.
I'm glad this is blowing up into an outrage, but only when it's outrage about what should be an outrage. If CNN got away with this stuff scot-free, it could've lead to some really nasty hit pieces down the line. The last loving thing we need is witch hunting via mainstream media outlets.
