if they're working below minimum wage then their employer is taking advantage of them, and you should direct your anger towards the dishonest employer.

correct

but you cannot expect employers to not take advantage of people with no legal protection in the economic sense

this is why communism doesn't work - it has multiple stages where you rely on the good will of other people

thats why labor unions exist

illegal immigrants have legal protection but not all the protections that citizens have. it doesn't mean that anyone is allowed to violate their constitutional rights

illegal immigrants aren't just a problem for the natives; they can't stick their heads above the water or else they get deported. we need to work on improving border infrastructure and the immigration process. the wall is just a meme and the status quo is bad

Mine the border and make Mexican jumping beans a real thing

Improper entry is punishable by brief detainment & a small fine, a less severe punishment than DWI. Unlawful presence is an infraction and is punishable by a monthly fee, essentially like a parking ticket.

That's how horrible these 'crimes' are. You could have a broken tail light and get fined more money than if you stayed in the us with an expired visa.
You seem to be implying that since the repercussions aren't very extreme that somehow makes it morally okay to break the law.

Why are you putting crimes in quotes like that? It's a crime. Are you saying entering an area unlawfully isn't a crime? You're handicapped.

No you forgeter i'm saying that criminal status isn't as black and white as these friends like to assume

it's only illegal if you get caught

You seem to be implying that since the repercussions aren't very extreme that somehow makes it morally okay to break the law.
correct, the legal repercussions of an action don't determine how moral that action is, because the law isn't always right and just, and in cases where morality has anything to do with it, we make laws to uphold values we already hold, not the other way around. the simple fact that something is illegal has no bearing on how right or wrong people consider that action to be. the only relevance here is that people can point to the existence of a law to refer to their beliefs as the official stance of the government/nation as a whole.
