im with him there-- i always order drinks without ice. even if it lasts long enough to get maybe 15 degrees warmer w/o ice, the watering-down of the drink isn't worth a lower sustained temp

i actually drink a lot of things kept at room-temp anyways. depending on what it is the coldness can detract the flavor

milk should only be drank warm (heated) or cold. room temperature milk is g-r-o-s-s
