you could have just, y'know... made a minecraft server so it would be more fair..

by the time it's wall of flesh, new players will be put into a situation where they have almost no health and are forced to go off of older tier armor and weaponry
terraria progress is based off of what the world has saved, and not what the player has actually done. in minecraft it would make sense because everyone is different and you can choose to live by yourself and live normally, and you can start anew and it'll just be normal minecraft.

you can't mine palladium, nor can you mine chlorophyte without a palladium pickaxe
by the time you have gotten to the point where they are from a new singleplayer world they would be done
