I just want something fun to richard around with friends so I'm not just jacking off in my free time, good character creation is a bonus

ffxiv has gotten a lot of attention lately
elder scrolls online isnt too bad in and of itself but dont expect a traditional elder scrolls game

Final Fantasy 14 aka FFXIV

theres a free trial that allows u to play til lv 35 (no time limit)
you level all jobs on one character, so you dont have to use multiple characters
