You know, whenever im in a mood to just have fun, i just play a video game. Just like everyone else. However the only genre of games thats right up My alley are RPG games, as theyre very easy to pick up and play.
Except for Mother 1, that stuff is loving impossible.However, my all time favorite RPG is
Pokemon Gold Version
If anyone here knows about Pokemon, call me a weeb all you want because i dont care. I loving love this franchise.
As for people who dont know about Pokemon:
The Pokémon games are all video games in the Pokémon franchise. All games in the standard style are considered the base, definitive canon for the Pokémon series. All other parts of Pokémon canon, including but not limited to the Pokémon anime, Pokémon manga, Pokémon Trading Card Game, and the Pokémon Trading Figure Game, are derived from the Pokémon world and concepts set forth in the games. There are currently 122 games known.
So upon starting the game, it may look like a Platformer to you. However, if youre curious and like to explore in games, youll eventually discover:
The game is actually a RPG! It just has some Platformer segments inbetween levels to pad things out.
Also, if the game looks anything like Super Mario World, thats probably because it should.
The gameplay is very traditional, you can walk, interact, battle with trainers, the usual. However, you can also catch Pokemon!
Catching isnt equipped by grabbing a power up, its actually a main key element to the gameplay!
So yeah, i have my own personal favorite topdown RPG. Any questions?
