Author Topic: Has anybody heard of lucid dreaming?  (Read 2009 times)

Definition:
A lucid dream is a dream during which the dreamer is aware of dreaming. During lucid dreaming, the dreamer may be able to exert some degree of control over the dream characters, narrative, and environment.

Yeah I had this once, it's not really that weird tbh.

heard of it? no

but felt it through braille? yes

nope never heard of it.

i had a lucid dream once where me and my dad were driving down a road in a car.

for some reason, it was like watching a movie. the camera was fixated on the road with our car coming towards it. for some reason though, my dad crashed the car into a ditch. at the same time this happened, i remember feeling my eyes jolt (because your eyes dart back and forth as you sleep) to the side the car crashed on right as the car crashed.

i correlated my eye movement with the cars movement. next thing i know, and this is all while im asleep, i could control the car in the dream by moving my real eyes back and forth. if i moved my eyes to the left, the car would pull out of the ditch back onto the road. if i moved my eyes to the right, the car would pull forward back into the ditch. i remember darting my eyes back and forth just watching the car pull in an out of the ditch. i did this till i woke up

it was very very surreal

I always wished to lucid dream but cant from my terrible sleep schedule.

every dream for me man

i wish i could get those but ive only ever had one, and that was years back

Can I get an amen for dreams?

I do it every time before waking up
that stuff is loving surreal man

I've always wanted to Lucid Dream, but it just never worked out for me

80% of my sleep is lucid dreaming
