Author Topic: Do you kill innocents in videogames?  (Read 3643 times)

if they block me when i need to go through a door, i will destroy their entire family.

i always think its funny when the hostage accidentally gets blown up in r6s

game dependent

if it's something like gta or whatever i couldn't give a stuff
in fallout i avoid to because sidequests and karma and stuff

if i do kill innocents in fallout i'm usually quicksaving moments before and then quickloading seconds later

only time i ever just kill spree in games like fallout is if i've already seen everything the game has to offer

Then you'd love Fallout 4 because it doesn't matter who you kill.
nice try todd I'm not buying fallout 4

if nazeem wont shut up about the cloud district, is he really innocent?

Moltenkittens from what I hear brakes at red lights and stop signs and goes by the speed limit in GTA 5.

An upstanding citizen in GTA 5.

Damn straight, I ain't some future jailbird

can anyone be truly innocent?

yes but only on accident

unless they got good stuff or something important no

what about in real life???

I don't really care much about the deaths of innocents in a game as long as they're essentially faceless NPCs; the pedestrians in GTA are a good example of "faceless" innocents.

Depends on the game. Most games have permanent hardcoded consequences for killing non-hostiles. Some games make it inefficient to kill friendlies by giving them stupid amounts of resistance or giving the action no benefit. Some games you just can't kill friendlies at all.

If I had the opportunity to kill an NPC for some sweet gear that wouldn't lead to a forgeted up playthrough, probably yeah

gotta start that genocide crusade somehow!
