not even our military should have them they are despicable
no they will make assassinations go up

absolutely, with the same acquiring process as a regular gun
they should be industry standard

Author Topic: should silenced/suppressed guns be legal  (Read 4247 times)

i want to defend my homestead with a silenced ak47 with a tactical laser sight and grenade launcher attached

not until they actually silence stuff

all silencers do is make your gun seem like a lower caliber

regulate my ass papi

silenced swords should be illegal though; far too many people get away with knife and broadsword attacks because of the silent nature of the weapons and if blades were regulated properly or had their suppressors removed by default this wouldn't be an issue. just my two dollars though

attach silencer to knife, you get silent stabs

attach silencer to mouth, nobody can hear screams

industry standard
no regulation
no tax
no restrictions
should be treated just like any other muzzle device really

97% of the time they wouldn't make it easier for criminals to get away with killing people. for the other 3%, like professional assassins or something(percentage is probably way off but you get the point), they would likely have them illegally already anyways. paying $200 and having to wait months to "legally" shoot my AR with a suppressor (which i ALREADY paid (sales) tax on to buy) on my own land or a friend's land so i don't annoy those around me or risk worsening my tinnitus is loving handicapped. another government cash grab

stick a silencer up your ass so you can blame everyone else but yourself for farting

stick a silencer up your ass so you can blame everyone else but yourself for farting

is there actually a way to do this

To get a silencer for a gun already takes a ridiculous amount paperwork/rules/stuff to go through just to be able to buy one

suppressors are legal in a lot of states

thanks but i would like a serious answer
i mean, hypothetically i could work. the noise you hear when you fart is your starfish smacking against itself. I suppose if you were to insert a suppressor into your butt you could arrange it such so that it stuck out, and then there'd be no noise except for the really quiet hiss.
