that'd actually be a pretty good idea. it'd not only move it to an ignorable spot, but also discourage people from randomly starting political discussions in threads where it's completely irrelevant, like how the drama forum encourages people to move interpersonal conflicts (or gives badspot a place to move threads that have irreversibly devolved into that). it'd probably be annoying to move active threads over there but probs worth it in the long run. also makes it easier for people who want to engage in political discussion to find places to talk about particular topics

While not a necessarily bad idea, politics encompasses way more compared to just a TV show about cartoon unicorns. A sub-forum would probably be way better.
