Are you happy he was fired?

Yes
YES, MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED
No, I actually liked him
No, since any director would get forgeted over by Disney and their limitations anyways
Not really
Yes, even if the next director still gets forgeted over

Author Topic: Star Wars: Episode IX - Director Colin Trevorrow Gets Fired! (Miracle)  (Read 3823 times)

OUR PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!

Colin Trevorrow, known for pieces of garbage such as Jurassic World, The Book of Henry, and a stuffty 2000's short film with his only decent film being Safety Not Guranteed (which he didn't write), was fired by Lucasfilm today in which the search for a new director begins; I've been wishing for this to happen for months, even if Disney continues to forget over its directors as seen in Rogue One and the Han Solo film.

My Replacement Picks For Director:

Paul W.S. Anderson (An amazing Sci-Fi director with phenomenal entertainment of brilliance)
Rian Johnson (Who's doing Episode 8 and previously did Looper)
James Cameron (Won't happen since he's doing the Avatar sequels which is probably on its 40th frame right now)
Ridley Scott (It would definitely be interesting)
David Fincher (You Know Why)

Watch it be Michael Bay.

XD

Cinema would end...

But he's doing Bad Boys 3 anyways.

YES! finally! colin trevorrow was fired! im so excited! i can't wait for him to come home to his family and have to break the news that he lost his job and watch as his life spirals into confusion and depression

dont you just love it when someone's career just ends? haha really gets my juices pumping, thinking how devastated they're going to be!

ur kind of an idiot tbh, this guy definitely has more than enough money already lol. like 1st of all jurassic world, and 2ndly he's definitely been/being paid for the work he's already done on this star wars movie

As glad as I am that this guy isn't in charge of the movie anymore (Jurassic World was a pretty garbage movie), it bodes really poorly for this movie to have the director swapped midway through. I hope that doesn't forget up the movie too bad, since you just know that Disney aren't gonna push the release date back.

man what is this starving artist gonna do now? how could disney just condemn a man to death like that?

Also, he can totally find another job.

just want to point out how ironic it is that most of your 'replacement picks for director' have a worse aggregated mean movie score than colin trevorrow...

yeah but i don't think its a good thing for someone to be forcibly fired from their job, unless they like harassed 10 coworkes or had a video leaked of them beating up their child. just being fired because he's a mediocre director is loving stupid because almost all directors are mediocre. even quentin tarantino's average of all movies he made have like a 50 on rotten tomatoes, and he's one of the best directors of all time

i dont think you're that in touch with reality

uh well, if it was about being a "mediocre director", he just never would've been chosen in the first place. something happened, clearly
I guess it's kinda dumb to be excited or whatever about it, but I don't have much sympathy for a rich guy getting fired lmao

it was probably a good decision but once again (Miracle) really makes you sound like a douche at the highest level of douchery

i wouldn't mind justin lin directing, he did a solid job with star trek beyond

That's a decent choice.

I liked Jurassic World. It's an amusement park full of dinosaurs. What's not to like?

it could have a lot been better but I still enjoyed it, was cool to finally see a functioning park
