i am bored with the current games on steam i got and i was wondering if i should buy counter strike:global offensive

i used to go to lan parties with my friends and play the original counter strike, and if was alone i played with bots

and now i ask you guys if i should buy the game, is it any good like the original?

ive always hated counterstrike. i never really got the appeal of it and would much rather play any other shooter because counterstrike brings nothing to the table for me. but it usually goes on sale for like $5 so just buy it then
