the thing is, it's just a word. i don't normally say it, nor do i normally think about it, because i don't have to. it's just a word, and thats all it will ever be. you don't get offended when people call others friends, cucks, and others, because they're just words. think about it. he isn't beating black people with a stick or saying "KILL ALL BLACKS" he's just saying the n-word. get over it.
i dont really give a damn that he said the n-word. it's just common sense not to. it may just be a word to you but it's still a racial slur to the rest of the world. it's something you just dont say, and that goes for anyone and everyone. you wouldnt refer to hispanic people being non-hispanic and call them beaner or chulo.
im not as uptight or passionate i guess about it like most black people or "leftists" or whatever are but the thing is; people do and don't get offended by "words". especially words that stem from an era or mentality of hate. respect the people that might get offended.
In his defense, he lives in Sweden where there are basically no black people. To him, the N-word is probably on the same level that 'mongoloid' or 'gypsy' is to us. He's got no frame of reference to work with, so a word that's extremely offensive in our culture probably has no similar impact in a culture that didn't have the same history of racial strife as the US.
He'll get flak for saying it, which he should as a public figure. But I doubt he hates black people or really even meant it as a racial attack, if that makes sense.
this is likely the most probable explanation
