do you get more money when a big drama fiasco goes down? like when the pie crust drama thread exploded did you start raking in more of those sweet, sweet pennies?

i don't know how ad revenue works but wouldn't tons of people reading 100+ pages on a thread generate more ads and therefor more money?

are massive dramas the only reason the blockland forums hasn't been tied to a cinderblock and thrown in the ocean? tell me, o wise oracle.

if i recall, around the time all those celebrity nudes were released there was a flood of spambot accounts who were attracted by some of the keywords used in the thread about it. that could've been worth something.

i know that some users turn ads on to support the website, but i don't think that it makes enough of a difference to matter, high traffic day or not
