Author Topic: the google pixel 2 won't have a headphone jack  (Read 6938 times)

I literally just don't understand. Why sabotage your own sales for no reason?
The idea is to get more sales by forcing people to buy arbitrary connectors, which hasn't been a new practice since the iPhone was conceived.  In practice, it can go one of two ways: either they gimp their own sales, or they make jackless phones the industry standard.  Hoping for the former, personally.  :}
that feel when you say "latter" when you meant to say former

Hm yes lets go backwards with technology
Remove phone cameras too. Just buy a damn polaroid
if your goal is to go "forward" then get bluetooth headphones
Ah yes. Because the only two options are to go backwards or go forwards. Can't possibly just remain satisfied with what you currently have.

what loving videos can you watch on a two inch wide damn phone screen
The same ones you can watch on a computer.

night fox have you ever owned a phone or what

When you think someone is trolling because they have a different opinion than you

They probably do it because they think "wired stuff are so early 21st century" I just hope Motorola won't get in this trend soon.

who are you even addressing with this? like quote a post that even correlates with this

the moto z doesnt have a headphone jack

Wish I could get used to this Bluetooth headset I have...

I'd rather plug my Razer Kraken into the USB to USB-C adapter (I lost it already lol) to plug into my Pixel, though. Wondering if I could do the same with the Pixel 2.

iphone 13; it's just a block which randomly ignites every 5 - 5621.55 minutes. there is no way to disable the ignition feature as the screen has been removed for taking too much space on the phone chassis

You visualize your apps in your mind.

some people just dont have a need for a headphone jack and prefer bluetooth headphones, they will buy this phone. some people prefer a headphone jack, they will not buy this phone and will buy a different phone with a headphone jack

crazy how things like consumerism work huh

i've been making an effort to switch most of my tech over to wireless and i've already got bt music connectivity in my car and bt earbuds (all my wired pairs died) so idc anymore. i'm planning on buying the 5" pixel 2 because as much as i love 1440p on my nexus 6p that res isn't too useful overall and the phone size is still very annoying. also the 6p shutting down randomly around 10-20% battery when it's colder than 60 degrees out is loving dumb

buy a moto Z2.

i have it and its a cool phone.

You do realize that they will include an usb c to 3.5 adapter right?
great so another tiny piece of wire i have to keep track of that is most likely going to get lost that costs 10 dollars for a decent replacement.
