What is OpenRCT2?

"OpenRCT2 is an open-source re-implementation of RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 (RCT2), expanding the game with new features, fixing original bugs and raising game limits. The gameplay revolves around building and maintaining an amusement park containing attractions, shops and facilities. The player must try to make a profit and maintain a good park reputation whilst keeping the guests happy. OpenRCT2 allows for both scenario and sandbox play. Scenarios require the player to complete a certain objective in a set time limit whilst sandbox allows the player to build a more flexible park with optionally no restrictions or finance."

Do I need the regular Rollercoaster Tycoon 2?

haven't rly tried the multiplayer yet but it seems fun so maybe i might join in sometime

u gotta like make it urself with the scenario creator
unfortunately u can't enable everything on one scenario yet tho (they're working on it but it's not gonna happen for a while cus they like have to make a new save format from scratch or something) but u can still enable a good amount of stuffs

if ur lazy and don't wanna decide on what things to enable i could give u one i made later

2's not terribly different from 1 rly 2 is basically an improved version of 1 and open2 is even better
altho the scenarios aren't as good but ey u can download remakes people have made of all the scenarios from 1 so i have fun with that
