Put a proximity bomb on your bike and it'll never move again

get a pink bike with hello kitty on it and nobody will steal it
except 4th grade little girls and cigarettes

even if you use a super sturdy lock it'll still get cut and your bike stolen if your bike looks really nice, I know this from experience. If you want your bike to not be stolen you need a good U-lock and a stuffty looking bike. You can also greatly reduce the chances by taking your front wheel with you after you lock it but that can be a hassle
bolt cutters ftw - better get something 15mm. or more in width

I would make some good suggestions but I ride a cruiser motorcycle so unfortunately none of my advice would be useful, best I can offer you is to get a good solid U-Lock and make sure that you keep it in a public spot when you're not riding it.

edit

And one more thing, when you are getting a U-Lock make sure to get one that is more than 15mm in diameter. Only time anybody will be able to cut that is if they either have a welding torch or some industrial-grade bolt cutters.

are any variety of those security skewers any good? i don't know if i want to carry two u locks and definitely not a cable lock with a u lock
if anything i would at least want the allen skewers if it means the quick release goes byebye

so i have a lezyne 400xl and it's a great light other than it having stuff battery on full blast, maybe someone can give me a good recommendation for a similarly bright light that lasts longer

side question:
are bike turning signals practical? i have been looking around online and i found these but i don't know whether it's actually good or a gimmick for a e s t h e t i c

another side question:
fiks: yay or nay

get a really big flashlight and tape it on

incase ur still lookin for ways to stop those gosh darn mud skins from stealing your bike, attach c4 to the bike

so now that i can lock my bike up and be seen at night, i might want to buy a bike bag or two for whatever reason
i might need storage whether it's to hold extra water, tubes, food, or my carrot collection something else
