i think what's more depressing is the 2,310 peak for blockland
Lawbreakers was shown at E3, and published by Nexon. Publicity and PC publishing combined should be pretty damn good.
Battleborn was developed by Gearbox and published by 2K. These people have lots of resources.
Blockland was some barely-advertised indie game made by one and a half guys many years ago that has probably been mixed for a million years. Didn't make it to steam till 6 years after it's official release, 9 years since it started existing. And launched into a just-as-saturated market as the other games. Cries of "Minecraft/Roblox ripoff" galore. It also has the 'came out of greenlight' effect, people didn't like a lot of greenlight games.
The only reason it has that high of a peak was because Steam used to do flash sales during their big sales. This put specific games in a very big spotlight for about 4 hours at a time or something like that. Blockland got a 90% deal. Yet it still outlives these, despite being much older than they are.
For anyone curious, this is what a dead game looks like.

They still try to update it too, on very, very rare occasions. But they'll never put the game on sale or communicate with their community. Dropping an odd message every few months about "Oh we're doing something dont you guys worry!"
