Author Topic: should there be a politics subforum  (Read 1288 times)

/title

I think it'd actually help contribute to the depoliticization of the forums a bit, since I at the very least would feel a little bit like a loser if I had to talk politics all day like some people on this forum

He made one for forum games because it was cluttering off-topic too much.

considering the admin of this forum talks about politics as well, is this really a smart thing to suggest?

oh, alright I forgot about that
probably should've taken it like a joke anyway since it's so absurd to suggest

It'd just be one more thing that badspot needs to administrate, so nah

Facepunch has one, and it works extremely well.

The fourms already feel dry. Delocalizing things more would make the fourms feel even more dry.

Nah, we only talk about politics enough to fill one megathread. And even if there was a subforum, quips at politicians or parties will probably still be made in regular discussion.

You're acting like he's actively looking out for rulebreakers, and that in order to catch them, he has to go up and down every board to do so.
And even if he did, it's not going to add more activity, just make it more organized.

That's fine. Games get talked about in other threads from other sections. Add-ons get posted in general discussion threads. etc etc. It's the thread starting that really matters.

What I would like is subforum called News & Politics.
