Garry's Mod problem: can't spawn objects (singleplayer)

This might not be the correct board for this, and i'm sorry if it isn't. I dont' really delve past General Discussion, Off Topic, and Music much.

Basically, I'm trying to spawn stuff in Garry's Mod, but nothing spawns. I go to look if I can undo it, but nothing shows up, proving it's nonexistence. At first I thought it was a faulty add on, so I went to the default stuff (construction props, Comic props, ETC) and yet nothing spawned. could it be an addon stopping me from doing anything? all I really have are weapon add ons, pill packs, and ragdolls.

flash your bios and reintall windows

uninstall all add-ons, make sure you're loading into the sandbox gamemode, verify integrity of game cache
