Author Topic: Republican Senator Rand Paul assaulted at home, suspect arrested and identified  (Read 5823 times)

it's almost like politicians live regular lives outside of their jobs

They didn't lie about what the loving attorney said, they're holding it up as fact without regarding at all what the victim thinks. I thought lefties were always supposed to believe the victim?
can u respond to this tho

How the forget is saying that the guy attack rand paul over something other than political belief a liberal narrative?

can u respond to this tho

the attorney's job is to represent the neighbor, and the neighbor, being the attacker, would want to mitigate this as much as possible
to CNN, his version of events means that it's not what everyone else is thinking (liberals attacking conservatives) and so they're okay with holding it up as the accurate depiction of events despite Paul not even saying anything yet
thus making it a liberal narrative

this is like a small scale conspiracy theory post man, you’re speculating on purely the fact attacker is democrat and victim is rand paul, and you’re ignoring the fact nobody has yet to call anyone out for lying about motive/facts despite the news being several days old.

not everything is so intensely politically motivated

legit, tac, does it not get tiring being outraged over literally everything

I've killed Australians for simply being Australian.

That and the Emus paid me

you son of a bitch.........

A "small scale conspiracy theory" isn't backed by the fact that practically every loving attack on a politician ever has been for political reasons.

But yeah, you're right. I might just be unreasonably relating this to that one incident a couple months ago where a registered Democrat and Bernie supporter tried to kill several Republican politicians (INCLUDING Rand Paul) at a baseball game.

Are you incapable of accepting that you might have just made the wrong call? You made an assumption based off of incomplete information, there's always a possibility this will lead to making the wrong judgement. The fact that you can't concede on this point is staggering.

Evidently the injuries were worse than initially thought

This is just confirmation bias. Politically motivated attacks are all we ever hear about because of their historical significance. I guarantee you many politicians have thrown/received a punch between strangers or friends or family members, and we simply never hear about it because no one cares.

Presumably these two incidents are completely unrelated so yes, it is unreasonable to reach that conclusion lol. A gunman attacking a gathering of GOP politicians is obviously politically motivated from the get-go, while people attack their neighbors for stupid reasons more often than you think.

I really don't think you can call this a "liberal narrative" until Rand Paul claims that this was politically motivated. The way I see it when this story originally came out people speculated it was politically motivated and now CNN is giving an update on the story, based on the lawyer's testimony. As far as I know CNN isn't leaving out any voices (either Rand Paul or his attorney) so to claim that this is an example of CNN's "biased liberal reporting" is presumptuous.

I bet Rand's dog stuff in the neighbor guys yard one too many times and he finally had enough of it
