Author Topic: Good way to passively lose weight?  (Read 5262 times)

I'm getting a bit on the hefty side, but I only have 1 day off from work a week. That's not enough exercise to maintain my weight. I used to starve myself, but it just made me feel terrible. I'm talking about not eating for maybe 9 days. Now, I'm eating 500 calories or less which is somewhat helping but still makes me feel bad, but not as bad. I drink my tea, eat some green beans, and tell myself I'm full. The rest of the day if I feel hungry I eat ice or drink water.

Anyone have any suggestions on losing weight without hitting up the gym every day?

500 calories is not enough dude. starving yourself is not a good way to lose weight.

burn more calories than you take in

Get a job with better hours and then exercise

i mean you did say it was only one side of your body

First of all, how much do you weigh, and what is your height? Secondly, stick to drinking water, and honestly, if you want to lose weight, you need to perform some exercise. A key to losing weight is to burn more calories than you intake for the day. you might intake 500 calories a day but if you're not burning it, it's just gonna be stored as fat / burned slowly.

I'm around 200 and 5"10. The tea is just a substitute for coffee because I have to wake up early every day. My job has me running around and sweating basically all day, but most of the sweat is from the heat.

if you're fat, you don't want to immediately go down to 500 calories a day dude, that pretty much like starving yourself.

only proven way to lose weight is a low carb, high protein diet with a lot of cardio.

"passively lose weight"...... smdh

That isn't bad, I weigh 195 at 5'8. You're obviously keeping hydrated, which is good, but if you want to lose any flab or get remotely toned, you have to start exercising. I don't mean to push more into your personal life, how many hours a day do you work and what do you do that's actually physically exhausting?
