The largest issue preventing release, at least from what I can tell, is that the v9 .zip Add-On system is not fully ready. Obviously this is one of the major features of the release, so you will be waiting until it is done. I heartily suggest that people quit making topics about this crap, and just be patient. You need to remember that players do not control the development process, even for retail games. This is especially important because Badspot is receiving no additional income for game updates, so his job at Garage Games is going to take precedence. However, t is not in Badspot's best interest to horde the updates to himself, so I'm sure it'll be available as soon as the feature set is complete and thoroughly tested.
