I still think it's ridiculous that they were imprisoned in the first place, but at least it seems Spain might allow their release eventually.

This is concerning, but a pre-emptive war would still be a disaster.

I'm aware; but 1) not everyone is, 2) events that might otherwise be interesting to discuss are often drowned out by American politics, and 3) in my opinion, it's important to be knowledgeable about what's going on outside of your home country.

You say that as if I have the power to delete or modify posts. The goal of the thread is to promote discussion, not to push an agenda; I may post or debate in the thread from time to time, and express my opinions there. But I won't be expressing or pushing my opinions in OP, polls, or the title.

Also, I realize and acknowledge that in the past I've made an ass out of myself. I took a brief break from the BLF, and from here on out I'm trying to stick with productive discussions and avoid insult wars. After all, fighting fire with fire only ends with a massive inferno. Also, I'd like to thank Red Spy for being willing to look past political differences to just have a decent chat once in a while.
