but they never said they hate their country. they're exercising one of the exemplary rights they've been given by that country by protesting unrightful police force. if you think it has anything to do with patriotism or veterans or any of that bullstuff then you've been played hard.
what I said before except add Colin Kaepernick saying (I think) that America isn't a great country that's why I'm doing this

There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder", referencing a series of events that led to the Black Lives Matter movement and adding that he would continue to protest until he feels like "[the American flag] represents what it's supposed to represent".
