but they never said they hate their country. they're exercising one of the exemplary rights they've been given by that country by protesting unrightful police force.

if you think it has anything to do with patriotism or veterans or any of that bullstuff then you've been played hard.

well that's just not true, they are obviously protesting because they want to improve America, cmon man

if you have a problem with ANYTHING in the united states, you are a TREASON! GOD BLESS AMERICA

not what I said but it doesn't help their case that they're actively disrespecting the flag

"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder", referencing a series of events that led to the Black Lives Matter movement and adding that he would continue to protest until he feels like "[the American flag] represents what it's supposed to represent".
seems reasonable to me? he thinks the flag is not representing freedom while police are able to get away with atrocities. whether you think the police have been justified most of the time is up to you, but his protest is about that and not "because i hate america"

i'm pretty sure oppression of black people isn't actually going on

slavery is still legal and jim crow has been the president for the past fifty years

i'm pretty sure oppression of black people isn't actually going on
i'm sure you'd know best

You're Getting Paid Thousands Of Dollars To Play A loving Game And Yet You Whine About How Black People Are Oppressed. Hmmmmmmmm. Makes Me Use My Think Button
