1. Teleportation Grenade

Has the same throwing range as the HE Grenade and the same timed fuse and still bounces off of things, but instead of exploding, it teleports you to wherever it is, be it on the ground or in the sky. Perhaps the model is two light grey hemispheres with a cyan center. These hemispheres stretch out, revealing more of the glow-y cyan center just before teleporting. Would be nice also with good particle and sound effects.

How to use: Equips grenade. Throws grenade. Player teleports when the time runs out.

Should not be able to teleport players out of vehicles or teleport vehicles with them.

2. Teleportation Grenade Launcher

Has a similar function to the Teleportation Grenade except the grenade must be set off by remote detonation (Alt-Click) and it has a longer range.

How to use: Equips grenade launcher. If player right-clicks when no grenade is present, makes error noise. Player left-clicks and it launches a grenade. Player may at any time right click and teleport to wherever the grenade is, whether in flight or landed. If player left-clicks as a grenade is already deployed, it launches another grenade and the old grenade shorts out.

Should not be able to teleport players out of vehicles or teleport vehicles with them.

3. Combo Push Broom

A push broom that pushes people not half as much as the original push broom. Holding down the fire button will spin as usual, but as long as you continue hitting the same person consecutively (Don't interrupt by hitting another player, bot, or vehicle.), it will charge energy. When you release on this same player, It will fire the same push broom projectile but release that stored energy in a push. The more you hit them consecutively before releasing at them, the more powerful the final push will be.

Do you know how to make weapons and/or are interested in learning? These weapons seem simple enough that they might provide a good learning opportunity.

I know how somewhat, but due to problems with my computer, I can no longer model. Additionally, I was more skilled in making terrain maps back in the day than weapons.

Because it would be too cheap of a weapon to use IMO. Perhaps there could be a max range pref to see how far it would allow teleportations or a toggling pref which toggles whether or not you can teleport out of vehicles?

Also what seems like a reliable cool down for the launcher?

This. It will not teleport you out of the vehicle. It will also not teleport the vehicle that you are in with you to the grenade.

The whole point of it is rapid combat insertion or on-the-fly evasion. Teleporting out of a plane before it crashes into players is just something that no one except starfishs who exclusively spam it would do. Teleporting an entire vehicle away gives the power to instantaneously mitigate MORE than personal risk, where this should be about personal risk only.

That makes sense. However, you could always keep the player's velocity when they teleport. That way, if they try to use the grenade to avoid crashing, they'll still die from hitting the ground too hard.

That's a possibility, but I'm not sure if that's the flavor I'm looking for. The old portal gun does this and I'm not sure if I would like something that operates so similarly.

Because also, you can jump out of a vehicle of course, which would render the grenade usable, but risk dying by being hit by your own vehicle, and even then, you risk still throwing yourself into a wall or causing the vehicle to tumble out of control, the latest of which is unfair to passengers.

Damn I'm thinking of all the retreat & ambush possibilities for this. Maybe even have sticky grenade versions as well.

What, you mean as in holding right click for player jets? I mean, I suppose, but that should teleport you as soon as you press it.

Also why would you be jets be used on most DM-type servers?
