history is there to learn from. we aren't going to solve problems from pinning the blame on one whole people.
aye, but i don't think we handled them properly throughout history. andrew jackson and the kool kids klub, as examples, should've gotten life sentences for crimes against humanity. they didn't, though, because society didn't very starkly contrast with the perpetrators- unlike now, where the perpetrators are far more isolated from the society that they exist in

deobandioverall it's a very sad issue. there absolutely are peaceful, liberalized muslims who have little or no common ground with these other groups who act as cults in comparison, but a large fraction of islam is undeniably hateful
people like @op don't help things by sensationalizing the issue, because that only brings polarity to the table
Does your friend deserve to be deported for being Muslim? Does he rape women and burn cars on your street?
More importantly, does he deserve to live in fear of one day being deported due to all the negative media emphasis on Islam there exists lately
