so uh I just learned Glenn Branca died a couple days ago. for those unfamiliar, he was a major force in minimalist composition and the no wave scene, big inspiration to artists like Sonic Youth and even Nirvana I think. John Cage called him a fascist once lol. anyway, he was an incredible artist and we're worse off without him. below is one of my favorite pieces by him. crank the volume up and you will be faced with exhiliration unlike anything else.

I forgetin love XTC, duran duran too, but XTC is top o' the line.
