there is nowhere else on the internet that you can witness the effects of putting random people together only connected through their playtime in a sandbox game, and that's why I love this forum so much
on social media you often feel like you're in an echochamber whereby the only views you hear are your own, then here you have borderline national socialists interacting with commies. I disagree that the political threads are bad because I have seen actual intellectual debate there, and though I don't agree with anything either say I respect cappytaino and tactical nuke for extensively using sources and actually backing up what they say instead of resorting to calling people carrot sniffers.
only big pet peeve about this forum I have is the shadow of anonymity that comes with threads like 'post real life pictures of yourself' where
people just talk stuff about other's appearances without ever revealing themselves
