What Will Happen When V9 Comes Out

Well im realy trying not to sound like a newb. But when/if V9 comes out what will happen will all these Add-ons be trash and wont work, will we have to buy it again, will our BL__IDs change.
If any one knows what will happen pleas post.

Current add-ons can be transfered with little work involved.  This though, will leave allot of the spam-ons in v8.
