one thing that's actually interesting about the car itself -- I wonder how it'll degrade over time? automobile-grade paint and plastic hasn't been tested in hard vacuum before like this, so it would actually give some interesting results.

not like we will be able to see it though :/

the batteries will only last 12 hours so unless someone goes on an expedition to find it in 30 years, we will never know

in all seriousness we'd probably forget about this by the time it even reaches mars (or the asteroid belt). it'd take a pretty long time to reach it
