Author Topic: what is this loving itunes bullstuff  (Read 3127 times)

okay seriously

I buy two albums a few weeks ago and I get them and try to download them and it takes like thirty minutes to download the first loving song of each when every other album was fine and then I play it and it's all loving crackly and fuzzy and stuff and you can't even hear the song
I tested the CDs, they work in the car but not in itunes or windows media player

THEN YESTERDAY I get like a forgetton more music and now albums are downloading fine BUT I can't put loving album artwork on it
I must've restarted itunes like fifteen times but it never applies the artwork I loving upload

someone help with this bullstuff, nothing I looked up online did anything

don't use itunes, it's seriously just paying to use music you can get for free anywhere else

I can speak from experience, iTunes has a long and painful history of doing exactly this. I wish I could give you an actual solution but you are literally better off using windows media player over iTunes.

this too

I'm not gonna move my entire library over to windows media player just because some albums are acting weird

you don't have to move anything, if you ripped the MP3s you can already play them. have you tried reinstalling iTunes, because that worked for me before. (pain in the ass I know)

im assuming you bought the albums to show support for the artists? cant think of any reason why you would use itunes other than to upload free mp3’s and transfer them to a phone. other than that, itunes is wack but ive never had this problem

if I can get confirmation that I won't lose all the files I downloaded to iTunes I'll try it

this
they're physical CDs that I download onto iTunes

If you bought the MP3s from iTunes, they should be in your iTunes media folder. nothing stopping you from cutting+pasting them to another directory then uninstalling iTunes ;)  for years now I've been ripping music using iTunes then just playing the music with windows media player. can't think of any reason your music would be deleted, but if for some reason it was, your purchases are tied to your apple account so you would be able to re-download the music.

but I hope you find a fix before that. I wish I could be more helpful :/

just pirate TOTALY LEGALLY DOWNLOAD all your music lol

have you checked whether your disc reader is forgeted

this post is really confusing me. there is no charge to use itunes. yeah you can buy music on itunes but generally the only way to get music that is on itunes for free anywhere else is the illegal way...
not to say that itunes is a good way to listen to music. but it doesn't involve payment.......

oh wait no he bought CDs and then tried transferring them to itunes but since itunes is gay things are going haywire. i see now

honestly i dont know. im so turned off by itunes that i cant even find basic buttons/tools sometimes. if they have a customer support line maybe try that?

usually programs nowadays are smart enough that reinstalling it shouldnt affect your library especially since you have an apple account to use itunes

my library is a mix of music downloaded from the itunes store, files uploaded from the internet and physical cds

the majority of it is physical cds though

it isn't

if it's any help for the first one my dad thinks the cds have the "wrong 'area code'" or something

no idea for the album artwork thing though

as in, you checked? or you're just saying it isn't

literally every other cd works on it so it's not the problem
