Author Topic: [POLITICAL Gay stuff] donald Annoying Orange targetting everything but gun laws 🔫  (Read 3611 times)

I noticed a weird trend
A drunk driver kills someone in a car accident and it's his fault, not the alcohol
A bomb explodes it's the terrorist's fault, not the bomb
Someone stabs someone and it's their fault, not the knife
but if someone shoots someone it's the gun's fault

i was happy about this but his insta post about how we should arm teachers kinda ruined it for me :/

Allowing our teachers to arm themselves is a great idea. Think about it, if a school has cops patrolling the halls there's probably 1 or 2 per car. Someone wants to shoot up a school they can count how many patrol cars are there and assume how many cops will be there, one cop means one gun. Throw armed teachers into the mix and it's suddenly a guessing game as to how many guns are there. If someone wants to still play the odds there's more guns ready to take them down.

I don't know about you, but teachers will be able to threaten people.
How bad does "You're getting detention" sound compared to "I'm gonna loving get my glock 18"

Because they'd get away with that and not get jail time or at the very least fired

our federal budget doesn't even allow for the teachers to arm themselves with enough pencils to the last the entire school year, there's no feasible way we'd be able to afford arming teachers with a gun and the proper training to go along with it. Then there's issues like a student overpowering a teacher or a teacher being accidentally mistaken for the shooter by a trigger happy cop in the heat of the moment, or a cop getting shot by a panicking teacher,. Plus I don't think it would create a safe and friendly learning environment for the students.

While I do agree that arming teachers could theoretically fix the issue it's just too shortsighted to be feasible.

it's not about arming teachers, it's more akin to just giving concealed carriers the right to have the firearm they personally bought and trained with on their person at their workplace

AKA getting rid of gun free zone policy. at the very least the schools should have some say

Yeah that, there's a reason shootings (of people) at police stations, gun stores, firing ranges, and military bases are rare

id remove military bases from there
contrary to popular belief everyone isnt walking around with a loaded firearm

I know that but like you said it's popular belief that they do, so no one would dare try to run in there sprayin.

thing is a lot of city schools already have security throughout the school---it's just the ones that are less populated are always the ones that are vulnerable to attack. to give teachers the ability to carry a gun on campus they would have to spend a lot more time for the most solid training there is, which is aimed at a whole different target than teaching a bunch of kids
personally i just don't trust society enough to have a dude not under police control wandering around with a gun---dunno what about it in specific but it just seems counterproductive and makes just as many problems as it solves

maybe it's just my area (which is surprising since im in virginia lol) but i don't ever see parents on facebook either praising Annoying Orange or whoever else for saying teachers should be armed---whenever something is commented against it there's no argument, just a circlejerk really

How bad does losing your loving job and getting your face posted all over national news for threatening a student with a gun, after the recent school shootings, sound?

Everyone has a smart phone, and whether or not teachers say to "put it away" doesn't mean it's away and off. People would record it and any dumbforget who tries to pull that stuff will be socially lynchmobbed
