Conan will always be known as the one with the biggest bumps. Badspot was jealous of his bump so he destroyed it

to be fair it takes a very high iq to recognize that bulge, some people might miss the veiny yet soft shape of that recognizable rooster, you can easily mistake it for any other bulge but to the well trained eye that bulge is a beacon  shining in the darkness of a pair of trousers, that bulge represents far more than a simple snake, it's a symbol of hope, and conan was trying to show us that.
