that's a very unpopular opinion, most of the time i hear the opposite, the campaign sucked but the multiplayer is great, just doesn't feel that much like halo.
never played the campaign, though, i'm trying to play them in order.
I am of the opinion that Halo 4 has the worst multiplayer of all the Halos and that Halo 5's is an improvement, but still isn't as good as say Halo 3's
Campaign-wise, i didn't care much for it in 4 because it started out and ended with QTEs of all things, and i felt that 343 went too hard on the drama and 'making the Master Chief more human and relatable' aspects of the story
Then Halo 5 went too hard on the Michael Bay action movie and Warden Eternal aspects, had a confusing marketing campaign, and had nothing but a slap fight between Locke and the Chief as their respective squads just watched
And above all that, they turned
Cortana into an antagonist even though she had just cured her rampantcy because of the cliche reason of 'gone mad with power'
